Ombudsman Yaroslavskaya: the girl who was sold for 60 thousand rubles is healthy
The girl born in 2023, who was tried to be sold for 60,000 rubles in Moscow, is healthy. This was told by the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the capital Olga Yaroslavskaya.
Earlier, the press service of the capital’s head office of the UK informed: on May 15, three women tried to sell a baby for 60,000 rubles in Moscow. They were detained after drawing up receipts and transferring the child to the “buyers”. Among the sellers, as it turned out, was the girl’s mother. A case has been opened on human trafficking, the central office said.
The girl, as noted, was placed in a specialized medical facility. “Everything is fine with her, she is healthy,” Yaroslavskaya said, explaining that “mother is not a citizen of Russia and not from Moscow.”
The Ombudsman keeps the situation under control.
