The head of Karelia, Artur Parfenchikov, reported on his VKontakte page that Olympic champion Vladislav Larin won gold at the Russian Taekwondo Championship.
The championship took place in Maykop and ended on September 28. The athlete from Karelia competed in the weight category over 87 kilograms and again proved that he has no equal.
Arthur Parfenchikov congratulated Vladislav Larin and his coach Sergei Petrov on the high award. The Minister of Education and Sports of the Republic, Roman Golubev, joined in the congratulations and noted that this was already the fifth Russian championship in the taekwondo career.
