The winners of the Nutcracker competition of different years – Semyon Salomatnikov (trumpet), Dmitry Melkumov (oboe), Sofia Tyurina (saxophone), Konstantin Sinev (saxophone), Gleb Semyonov (piano) and Polina Thai (cello) will take part in the festive concert. The audience will also get acquainted with the art of the performers who entered the competition jury this year. These are Nebojsa Zhivkovich (percussion), Denis Lupachev (flute), Anna Tsybuleva (piano), Fedor Shagov (tuba), Kirill Kravtsov (cello) and his band Rastrelli Cello Quartet. Accompanying performances of soloists by the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic. Conductor – Mikhail Shekhtman.

Under the terms of the competition, young musicians will compete in three categories – piano, string instruments (violin, cello, double bass, harp), as well as wind and percussion instruments.

This year, 48 participants (16 in each nomination) from Armenia, Belarus, Great Britain, Kazakhstan and Russia passed to the first round of the competition. Their age ranges from 9 to 14 years. The performances of young talents in the Piano nomination will be judged by Arthur Ansel (France), Lyudmila Berlinskaya (France-Russia), Justus Frantz (Germany), Anna Tsybuleva (Russia); in the nomination “String instruments” – Zakhar Bron (Germany – Russia), Valery Vorona (Russia), Bruno Monsaingeon (France), Kirill Kravtsov (Germany – Russia); in the nomination “Wind and percussion” – Denis Lupachev (Russia), Nebojsha Jovan Zhivkovich (Serbia), Fedor Shagov (Russia).

The closing ceremony of the competition and the awarding of the winners will take place on December 8.
