In Russia, 14,960 residential buildings remain flooded due to the flood. Most of them – 14,409 – are in the Orenburg region, they reported TASS in operational services.
In the Kurgan region, 305 houses were flooded, in the Samara region – 181. In addition, 27,688 household plots, 102 low-water bridges and 79 sections of roads were flooded.
Meanwhile, the water level in Orenburg Orsk is decreasing. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, over 3 thousand houses in the city were freed from water. 3,232 thousand houses and household plots remain flooded.
“One of the dam breaks has been repaired and a 10 m wide section has been filled in. Motor pumps and pumping stations pumped out more than 143 thousand cubic meters. m of water,” is specified in press release ministries.
On the night of April 6, a dam broke in Orsk. In the Orenburg region, a state of emergency has been in force since April 7 due to flooding, the water is approaching the regional center. Throughout the region, more than 14.5 thousand residential buildings were flooded, 16.5 thousand people were evacuated. In April, the flood situation worsened throughout Russia; it already affected 34 regions.
