Due to shawarma poisoning in the city of Vladimir, 107 people turned to doctors, including 23 children. This was reported in Telegram Governor of the Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeev.
According to him, about half of those who applied were hospitalized. “Salmonellosis was diagnosed in a number of cases. There are no severe cases, all patients are on the mend,” said Mr. Avdeev.
The regional Ministry of Health said that 67 people were hospitalized with signs of acute food poisoning, including 17 children. Their condition is assessed as moderate, reports TASS.
Rospotrebnadzor said, which established the addresses of five catering establishments where the victims bought shawarma. Based on the results of the inspections, they revealed a number of violations of the requirements of sanitary standards, they were sealed.
