The number of participants in IT-programming courses “Code of the Future” exceeded 100 thousand people

Representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development, Mass Communications summed up the preliminary results of the “popularity” of the free educational IT courses “Code of the Future”, the registration for which is available on the “Gosuslugi”.
More than 100,000 people have applied for the courses, with nearly 40,000 having already passed entrance tests and started classes, according to the agency. The rest of the participants will join them before the end of the year. The most popular among schoolchildren were classes in such programming languages as Python, Java, C++ and C#.
Both the student himself and his parents or legal representatives can apply for training. To register, you need to have a verified account on the State Services portal. After registration, students will be given an entrance test.
The training is suitable within the framework of the project “Development of human resources in the IT industry” of the national project “Digital Economy”.
