The number of ferries increased at the Kerch crossing

There are already six ships operating at the ferry across the Kerch Strait, Kommersant was told in the administration of Kerch. In addition, the authorities of the region decided to send two convoys of trucks a day to the Rostov region through new regions – Kherson, Zaporozhye regions and the DPR.
According to officials, two additional ferries with a capacity of 25 heavy vehicles began work this morning, October 13. This made it possible to unload queues from cars. Experts also note that the queue of heavy trucks has decreased by 150 vehicles, to 750 vehicles. In total, up to 200 heavy vehicles per day can now be transferred through the Kerch Strait, reducing the preliminary waiting time for the ferry line to three to four days.
Former head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov informedthat the ferry crossing to Kerch will operate for at least a month and a half until restoration work is completed on the Crimean bridge to eliminate the damage from the truck explosion, which was prepared by the Ukrainian special services.
