The number of companies planning to pay final bonuses to employees has increased

Four out of ten companies plan to pay bonuses at the end of the year. Half will reward the entire staff, the other – selectively, showed survey research center Superjob.ru. Compared to last year, the number of employers wishing to reward employees has increased. In December 2022, a third of respondents announced similar plans. In Moscow, bonuses are often given to the entire staff, in St. Petersburg – to individual employees or departments.
The number of employees expecting year-end bonuses is also at a 13-year high. 37% of respondents are waiting for payments. The most popular answers to the question of what they plan to spend this money on: paying off loans or debts (14%), savings and investments (13%), travel and vacations (12%). Every tenth person is ready to spend the bonus on gifts or on family, 6% on themselves. 5% of respondents need money for current needs.
