In Salekhard, on September 9, district firefighting multifunctional all-around competitions were held. 12 teams competed for the title of the strongest. The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug spoke about the winners.
First place was taken by the team of the fourth special fire and rescue unit of Noyabrsk, second by specialists from the fire service of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and third by employees of the sixth fire and rescue unit of Muravlenko.
Note that Yamal rescuers-strongmen performed all exercises without breaks and in full uniform, which weighs 30 kilograms. This includes swinging a 32-kilogram weight, lifting a 55-kilogram barbell, turning a tire, transporting a dummy of a victim weighing 80 kg, and towing a car on a rope.
