On Sunday, October 2, in the regional center on the “Southern Slope” the northernmost race uphill “Arctic Top Run” took place.

The program was presented in two types of races – individual, in which the athlete was required to overcome a distance of 600 meters, and team – in this case, four people conquered a distance of 460 meters.

The participants who won prizes were awarded a cash prize – ten thousand rubles were supposed for the first place, seven thousand rubles were awarded for the second step of the podium, and five thousand rubles were given out for bronze, the organizers said on the official page of the event in VK.

In addition, all participants who reached the finish line were awarded medals and souvenirs.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that the participants events almost 300 townspeople became the “All-Russian day of walking” in Olenegorsk.
