The northernmost stage of the Russian beach volleyball championship started in Severodvinsk

For the second year in a row, Severodvinsk hosts a round of the Russian beach volleyball championship. Teams from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Moscow, Lipetsk regions, Krasnodar Territory and the Yamalo-Nenets District came to the city of shipbuilders. Today started the first day of the main draw of the championship.
Yesterday at Jagry, before the main part of the tournament, a qualification took place, which weeded out 4 men’s teams. 16 men’s and 16 women’s teams entered the main draw. From the Arkhangelsk region, two teams are represented – Egor Kureshov and Igor Shirokiy, as well as Dmitry Zhuravlev and Igor Arsentiev.
Tomorrow, July 22, at 12 o’clock the solemn opening ceremony of the championship will take place. The games of the first round of the playoff bracket will be held from 9:00 am, the games of the second round of the playoff bracket will be held from 12:20 to 15:30, and from 15:40 to 19:00 you can watch the games of the semi-finals.
On July 23, from 12:00 to 14:00, games for 3rd place will take place, and from 14:00 to 16:00 – the final games.
The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday at 16:20.
