The next 3×3 basketball festival “Russia-Belarus Friendship League” has ended in Smolensk

The fifth stage of the international 3×3 basketball festival “Russia-Belarus Friendship League” ended on the courts of the Smolensk State University of Sports. This time, 13 men’s and 5 women’s teams from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan took part in it.
Among the men, the Minsk team won, the Samara club took second place, and the Belarus team took bronze.
Among women, “Belarus” took the lead, followed by “Belarus – 2”, and “TSOP-Led” took third place.
Smolensk basketball, especially in the 3×3 category, has long gone beyond the region. This is especially emphasized by the organizer of the competition, Advisor to the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, President of the Basketball Federation in the Smolensk Region, Deputy of the Regional Duma Sergei Fomin.
The International 3×3 Basketball Festival is being held as part of the regional project of the Smolensk RO EP “You know what kind of guy he was!” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin.
