Javier: The ruling circles in the West abandoned the “model of freedom” for the sake of socialism

Western countries are in danger because the ruling circles have abandoned the “freedom model” for the sake of a socialist agenda. This statement was made by Argentine President Javier Miley at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

“The West is in danger because those who are supposed to protect it are being taken over by a vision of socialism, <...> abandoned the model of freedom for collectivist experiments,” Miley said.

He also emphasized that around 1860, Argentina adopted the “model of freedom” and within 35 years was able to become a world power when Buenos Aires embraced collectivism.

Miley believes that socialism is an impoverishing phenomenon that has failed economically, socially and culturally.
