The new uniform of the Russian national football team was presented at the exhibition-forum “Russia” at VDNKh in Moscow. The equipment is inspired by Russian folklore, reported press service Russian Football Union (RFU).
The home kit is made in red colors and is dedicated to the Firebird. The shape has a pattern in the form of stylized shining feathers. The second set is made in light shades and is dedicated to the image of the mythical Frost embodied in fairy tales.
The form was developed by Jogel, with which the RFU entered into an agreement at the St. Petersburg International Forum in 2023. The team will play its first matches in the new uniform on March 21 at the Dynamo stadium against the Serbian team and on the 25th against Paraguay.
Since 2008, Adidas has been the technical sponsor of the Russian team. After the start of a special military operation in Ukraine, the German company suspended cooperation, which was planned until 2026. The Russian team played in Adidas uniforms until the end of 2023.
