The new hockey season among student teams started in the Moscow region

On October 7, the first matches of the new season of the open championship of the student hockey league of Moscow and the Moscow region will take place. The first mast will take place in Sergiev Posad. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports.
During the first game, the teams “MFYuA” from Sergiev Posad and “PROSVET” from Mytishchi will meet. The match will take place at the Sergei Fedorov Ice Arena. The start is scheduled for 14:15.
A total of 24 teams will play in the new season. The number of participants has increased greatly compared to the previous year. There were 8 teams playing back then. Now all participants were divided into three groups according to geography: “East”, “West” and “South”.
At the end of last season, hockey players from Chekhov received gold medals. Mozhaisk hockey players are in second place in the ranking, and the team from Mytishchi closes the top three.
