The national team of the Arkhangelsk region was unable to win the sports contest for pensioners. Competitions were held in Togliatti. 670 finalists from 73 Russian regions took part in the Games.
Competitions were held in seven sports: athletics (cross-country 1,000 meters and combined relay), swimming (50 meters), table tennis, shooting, chess, darts, volleyball. Within the framework of the event, the standards of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” (TRP) of 9-11 steps were also passed.
The team of the Arkhangelsk region took 11th place. The leaders were the representatives of St. Petersburg.
