The NArFU Chess Academy summed up its work for 2023. Last year, 20 chess tournaments were organized and held at the Arctic University. These are ten stages of the university cup in rapid chess and ten stages in blitz.
Let us remind you that the project “Chess Academy of NArFU” has been implemented by the university for several years. A number of tournaments have become an excellent tradition for chess players from among students, university employees, graduates and their children.
By the way, since 2023, with the support of the alumni community and the regional chess federation, chess players who are “silver age” graduates of NArFU have been given a free opportunity to practice weekly and hold friendly meetings in the very center of Arkhangelsk.
