The names of the winners of the Sakhalin stage of the GTO-2023 Games became known

In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the winners of the regional stage of the II Open Cup of the Far East “GTO-2023 Games” were determined. Now 12 strongest athletes, including boys, girls, men and women, will fight in the final, which will be held in Vladivostok as part of the Eastern Economic Forum from September 10 to 17, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region reported.

Athletes aged 14 and older from Okhinsky, Aleksandrovsk-Sakhalinsky, Tymovsky, Smirnykhovsky, Uglegorsky, Tomarinsky, Makarovsky, Kholmsky, Dolinsky, Nevelsky, Anivsky, Korsakovsky districts and the regional center competed for tickets to the final during the week.

Participants competed individually. They had to perform seven exercises in turn: a shuttle run 10×10 meters, a complex repeated for 4 minutes and including five jumps with a push from a place with two legs, 10 push-ups and 15 repetitions for the press. After the expiration of time and a minute rest, the athletes pushed the kettlebell, squatted with the kettlebell and pulled themselves up.

According to the results of the competitions among men and women, Nikolay Voitekhovich and Irina Khon became the winners, Anton Govorukhin and Svetlana Kuzmina won the silver of the Games, Evgeny Dorokhov and Alexandra Ponizovich won the bronze.

Among boys and girls, Ilya Bogatyrev and Anna Strukova showed the best results, Yegor Shapoval and Diana Kim took second place, Alexei Kuminov and Svetlana Martynyuk rounded out the top three.
