Utility workers went around the apartments to check the heat supply
A communal emergency in the Klimovsk microdistrict of Podolsk, Moscow Region, unwittingly contributed to the unpleasant discovery. Having opened one of the apartments, experts found there the mummified corpse of a woman, wrapped in a blanket.
As MK learned, employees of the management company were forced to break the locks of one of the apartments in the building on Zavodskaya Street. On January 10, for the first time in a long time, they toured all households to check whether all water supply systems were in good condition after problems with heat supply. Only one door was not opened for them. Moreover, the residents of this apartment have accumulated significant rent debts. According to neighbors, the owner of this home died 5 years ago. She was left with her only daughter, born in 1977, with a severe mental diagnosis – at that time she was in a clinic.
The last time the unhealthy woman was seen at the entrance was four years ago. She attacked one pensioner, pressed her against the wall and screamed something inaudible. The neighbors called the police and the unwell lady has not been seen since then. They thought she had been admitted back to the hospital. However, her body was found in the room. The age of death is about six months. Presumably, the woman died of starvation.
