The Moscow prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit to ban the distribution of a video of trash autoblogger Gadzhi Gadzhiev in Russia. The reason was a video recording in which the autoblogger and his friends were “moving aggressively” along the Taras Shevchenko embankment and Kutuzovsky Prospekt in Moscow. The day before, on January 23, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against the blogger due to his aggressive driving style. Mr. Gadzhiev’s YouTube channel has 582 thousand subscribers. His videos receive millions of views.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the blogger posts videos in which he violates traffic rules and demonstrates dangerous driving. It is noted that the video is accompanied by encouraging comments, and violations of administrative legislation are not stopped by the participants in the videos.

“The dissemination of such information and calls for the commission of administrative offenses in the field of road safety contribute to the violation of traffic rules and pose a direct threat to the safety of life and health of road users,” the prosecutor’s office said in its Telegram-channel.

The day before, January 23, TFR excited a criminal case against autoblogger Gadzhi Gadzhiev for actions that threaten the safe operation of vehicles (Article 267.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Under this article, Mr. Gadzhiev faces a fine or imprisonment for up to two years.

On October 26, 2023, in Dagestan, the autoblogger was detained by police for a similar offense. It is noted that at that time he had already been deprived of his driver’s license.
