The Moscow prosecutor’s office again warned against violations of the law in connection with an uncoordinated rally in the city center. The action was organized by the “Way Home” movement, which claims to represent the wives of those mobilized in the Northern Military District.
The prosecutor’s office clarified that “the event was not coordinated with the city executive authorities in the manner prescribed by law.” According to the department, calls were spread on the Internet, including on social networks, to “take part in a mass action” in the city center. “The Moscow prosecutor’s office considers it necessary to warn about the inadmissibility of violating the law,” says its press release (quoted by Interfax).
The action is held in the Alexander Garden. Participants in the action lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. According to the Telegram channel “Caution, news”, several journalists were detained at the rally, most were later released. How many people came to the rally was not specified.
Last time a similar event was carried out a week ago, February 3. The action was also not approved. About 200 people came to see it. After the action, several dozen people were detained, most of them journalists.
