An increase in the number of contract military personnel who participate in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine will make it possible to change the situation with rotation. This was stated by the Military Commissioner of Moscow Maxim Loktev.

“I think that (the situation with rotation – Kommersant) will change, and the position of the Ministry of Defense is very correct. We all understand that rotation needs to be carried out, people need to rest. It is important to give the opportunity to be at home,” the commissioner said in response to a question from the Commissioner for Human Rights in Moscow, Tatyana Potyaeva, about granting leaves to military personnel (quote from TASS).

According to Maxim Loktev, the Ministry of Defense “will have more opportunities to release military personnel.” He added that those demobilized for health reasons are starting to return from the front, who need to be socialized and “find a use for them in life.”

As Mr. Loktev said, he took more than 40 people with “very severe injuries” to the headquarters as military personnel so that they would serve until retirement. “It is important to employ the guys, because the guys are quite young… and they are not “people with disabilities”, but members of our military team,” the commissioner said.
