The Moscow company increased the production volume of rescue and personal protective equipment by 45%

The Moscow enterprise, which produces life-saving protective equipment, produced 45% more products in 10 months of this year than in the same period last year. “The research and production company Pozhkhimzashchita has been producing products for 14 years that are used in fire and industrial safety, as well as in emergency situations. The enterprise has developed and put into mass production over 50 types of products – many of which are patented and have no analogues in the country,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. He added that the company is developing dynamically. For example, from January to October 2023, more than 250 thousand protective, rescue, fire-fighting and warning equipment were produced there, which is 45% more than the same period in 2022.

The company’s product range includes protective suits, industrial respirators and gas masks, breathing devices and other products, including high-tech ones. And one of the most popular products is a universal filtering small-sized self-rescuer. The company has received over 270 confirmed cases of successful use of this device during fires and emergencies. According to the company’s commercial director Konstantin Kaluzhin, as part of the import substitution program, the manufacturer is expanding its range and increasing the reliability of its products.
