The Moscow City Court refused to cancel the arrest of rapper Vacio because of Ivleeva’s party

The Moscow City Court approved the decision on the administrative arrest of the Lefortovo District Court in relation to the rapper Vacio (Nikolai Vasiliev). Mr. Vasiliev received 15 days of arrest and a fine of 200 thousand rubles. for petty hooliganism (20.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation) and LGBT propaganda (Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code) after participating in Anastasia Ivleeva’s party. The rapper attended the event without clothes, wearing a sock.

“On December 26, 2023, the Moscow City Court upheld the decision of the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow dated December 22, 2023 in relation to Nikolai Mikhailovich Vasiliev, accused of committing administrative offenses under Part 2 of Art. 20.1 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (petty hooliganism),” reports press service courts of general jurisdiction.

The party took place on December 20 at the Moscow club Mutabor. The stated dress code for the party was almost naked. The event was attended by Russian pop stars: Lolita, Philip Kirkorov, Dima Bilan, Dzhigan and others.

After photos from the party were distributed to the media, State Duma deputy Maria Butina sent inquiries to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Roskomnadzor and the Ministry of Culture with a request to give a legal assessment of the event. The organizations “Forty Forties”, “Call of the People” and “Federal Project for Security and Anti-Corruption” of Vitaly Borodin also sent appeals to law enforcement agencies. The head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, called the party “a shot in the foot of the entire policy pursued by the state” and called for a boycott of all participants in the event.

After public outcry, Anastasia Ivleeva brought publicly apologized for the inconvenience caused by the appearance of the event’s participants, and also announced that it would donate the proceeds from ticket sales to charitable organizations. Commented on their participation in the “naked party” Philip Kirkorov, Dima Bilan, Lolita and Ksenia Sobchak. Rapper Vacio apologized for participating in the event.
