The Moscow City Court recognized the youth organization “New Greatness” as extremist, several of whose members had previously been convicted of extremist crimes.
According to the court decision, the claims of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation to recognize “New Greatness” as an extremist organization were satisfied.
The decision taken by the Moscow City Court means that this organization has been recognized as banned in the Russian Federation and it is now prohibited to publish or display its symbols on the territory of the country, and members of the “New Greatness” may be brought to criminal liability for financing the organization’s activities and distributing its materials, including in the Internet.
