Mortgages for secondary housing in July began to recover after the spring collapse: compared to June, the number of loans increased by 55% to 56,000 loans, and the volume – by 66% to 165 billion rubles, follows from Frank RG data. The share of the number of secondary loans in the total structure amounted to 62% and reached the level of September 2021. The share of loans issued in the total amount reached 47%.
According to Frank RG, banks issued 90,000 mortgage loans totaling RUB 348 billion in July, which is 35% more than in June, but 21% less than July 2021. In quantitative terms, issuance increased by 40% compared to June and decreased by 40% by July 2021. According to the Central Bank, in July, banks issued 91,591 loans worth 341.58 billion rubles.
