The inhabitants of Tatarstan, mobilized in the NMD zone, who asked for help from the head of the republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, were returned to their regiment, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier, a video was published on social networks and instant messengers, in which about 20 men in military uniform report that they were mobilized from Tatarstan and, upon arrival in the NVO zone, were distributed to different units, transferred to the command of the DPR. Despite the fact that they were supposed to form the second or third line of defense, they were sent to carry out a combat mission without any equipment and support.
The mobilized clarified that they were ready to serve further, but in their own regiment. They asked for help from the President of Russia and the head of Tatarstan.
The interlocutor of RIA Novosti said: “According to our information, everyone returned to the location of their regiment.”
According to him, information about the situation in the NMD zone is monitored daily and reported to the head of the republic. Immediately after the publication of the video, the government of Tatarstan contacted colleagues from the DPR.
Previously reported similar appeals for help mobilized from Tuva and the Kaliningrad region to the leadership of their regions. After complaints about what was happening, which also featured the military of the DPR, the heads of the regions had to intervene in the situation. At the same time, the former head of Tuva and deputy chairman of the State Duma, Sholban Kara-ool, who figured out what happened, said that none of the mobilized who had previously reported beatings in the DPR were seriously injured. He also noted that “first of all, there must be order on the part of the mobilized.”
