Credit Suisse freezes more than $19 billion of Russian assets

According to SonntagsZeitung, one of the largest Swiss banks, Credit Suisse, has already frozen 17.6 billion francs (over $19 billion) of Russian assets. This is more than a third of all Russian assets registered in Switzerland.
The Swiss authorities, due to sanctions related to a special military operation, froze the assets of the Russian Federation in the amount of 7.5 billion Swiss francs and blocked 15 properties. In total, about 50 billion dollars of funds related to Russia have been declared in the country.
