According to Rospotrebnadzor, for the nine months of 2023 in Russia identified 288 times more cases of measles than the year before. According to experts, the increase in measles incidence is associated with the consequences of the pandemic, a shortage of vaccines, as well as increased anti-vaccination sentiment. Meanwhile, in November-December increased the cost of measles vaccines amid the risk of shortages.
