The Ministry of Transport can create a single account for paying parking lots and fines. The idea was supported by the First Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia Andrey Kostyuk. A copy of the document is TASS.
State Duma deputy from the New People party Anton Tkachev suggested that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin introduce a single account for paying parking lots and fines. In his opinion, the current system is imperfect, since it can lead to debiting of funds for the lack of payment for parking, even if it is paid.
Kostyuk replied that the proposal requires additional work on organizational and technical implementation.
“In terms of the possibility of creating a “single account for a motorist”, from which city parking fees will be automatically debited in accordance with the established tariff, as well as fines for violating traffic rules, we report that there are no objections in principle,” Kostyuk wrote in response to the appeal.
Now parking in the capital is paid separately through the Moscow Parking service, and traffic police fines come through the State Traffic Inspectorate or the State Services. In the regions, payment for parking is carried out using local systems, there is no single portal for this.
