Oleg Drozdov gained fame as a co-owner of the First Gaming Company of the East (PIKV), one of the investors in the Primorye gambling zone, which is being built near Vladivostok. The entrepreneur came under criminal prosecution in 2013 shortly after entering into an agreement to transfer 70% of the shares of PIKV LLC, of which he was the sole beneficiary, to a group of investors from Hong Kong and Taiwan, led by Chinese gambling magnate Lawrence Ho.
