Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting of the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports in Perm, called on the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection to deal with the monopoly on the production of special technical means of rehabilitation. He also emphasized the need to provide the participants of the SVO with means of rehabilitation.
“As for rehabilitation means, the Ministry of Labor must rid this type of activity from the monopoly. Yes, modern means of rehabilitation are more expensive, and many times more expensive,” noted Vladimir Putin.
He said that the Ministry of Finance has allocated additional money for their production. “We will find everything needed for these purposes from non-budgetary sources,” the president said.
Mr. Putin considers domestic means of rehabilitation to be very effective and emphasizes that they must be “included in work, in circulation, so that they do not feel like strangers at this “festival of resource distribution.”
Vladimir Putin called on the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Sports and the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation to begin working together in this direction.
October 17 Ministry of Labor reportedthat more than half of the participants in the military operation in Ukraine who were injured suffered amputations.
