The Ministry of Justice returned the song of the group “Pornofilmy” to the list of extremist materials

On February 22, the Ministry of Justice again included the song of the Pornofilmy group, “Kill the Beggars!” to the list of extremist materials. The project “Network Freedoms” drew attention to this. The decision to re-recognize the composition as extremist delivered Dzerzhinsky District Court of Volgograd September 26, 2022.
In 2021, the Dzerzhinsky Court of Volgograd recognized the song as extremist, after which it was entered into the register of the Ministry of Justice. In February 2022, the Volgograd Regional Court canceled this is the solution. The case was remanded for a new trial to the court of first instance.
By order of the court, specialists from the Scientific Research Center for Forensic Expertise conducted a psychological and linguistic examination of the song “Kill the Beggars!”. In custody notedthat the composition belongs to the genre of satire, and its text does not contain signs of extremism.
After the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, the musicians of “Pornofilms” made anti-war statements. Later, the band members decided to leave Russia.
