The Ministry of Justice recognized businessman Potapenko and journalist Trudolyubov as foreign agents

The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has made changes to the register of individuals and legal entities recognized as foreign agents. The updated list is published on the official website of the department.

Businessman Dmitry Potapenko was added to the register of foreign agents, who participated as a respondent on information platforms provided by foreign agents and foreign media. He also spreads fakes about the decisions made by public authorities of the Russian Federation and the policies they pursue.

Journalist Maxim Trudolyubov was included in the register of foreign agents for collaborating with undesirable organizations in the Russian Federation and speaking out against the Russian special military operation.

Also, the “THIS IS SO” project, established by a foreign media corporation, was recognized as a foreign agent.

Earlier it was reported that spouses Alla Pugacheva and Maxim Galkin (recognized by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation as a foreign agent and included in the corresponding register) risk losing money in Russian accounts and a luxurious estate near Moscow. The family faces the loss of their fortune after the State Duma introduced amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, providing for the confiscation of property for fakes about the Russian army.

Meanwhile, writer Boris Akunin (real name Grigory Chkhartishvili), recognized in Russia as a foreign agent, wanted. The basis for putting a writer on the wanted list is an article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation does not specify under what specific article he is wanted.
