The Ministry of Justice declared three organizations from Ukraine, Japan and Switzerland undesirable

The Ministry of Justice added the Union for the Return of the Northern Territories, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center and the IndustriALL Global Union to the register of undesirable organizations. All of them were included in the list on February 5, it follows from materials on the department’s website.

“Union for the Return of the Northern Territories” (registered in Japan) is an organization associated with the Japanese political movement for the return of the islands of the southern part of the Kuril chain – Iturup, Shikotan, Kunashir and Habomai (in 1946 they became part of the USSR).

“Crimean Tatar Resource Center” (CRC, registered in Ukraine) is a public organization created in 2015. According to information on its website, the goal of the KRC is to ensure the collective rights of the Crimean Tatars as an indigenous people and the individual rights of all residents of Crimea. The organization’s website contains materials with the titles “Victims of the occupation of Crimea”, “Persons violating human rights in Crimea”, “Traitors have no other fate”, etc.

IndustriALL (registered in Switzerland) is an international association of industrial workers’ unions. The organization’s website says the alliance “fights for an alternative model of globalization and a new economic and social model that puts people first, based on democracy and social justice.”
