The Ministry of Justice declared political scientist Oreshkin, journalist Super and the Proekt publication as foreign agents

Ministry of Justice of Russia today, June 2, contributed in the register of foreign agents of the Proekt (recognized as an undesirable organization) and Yarnovosti publications, as well as journalist Roman Super, publisher Maxim Kuzakhmetov and political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin.
Justifications for entering into the register, which are given by the Ministry of Justice:
- The Proekt publication “spread false information” about the activities of the Russian authorities and the armed forces; participated in the distribution of materials of foreign agents; Roman Badanin, founder and editor-in-chief of Proekt, was recognized as a foreign agent in July 2021.
- “Yarnovi” “disseminated unreliable information about decisions made by public authorities”; participated in the distribution of materials of a foreign agent;
- Roman Super “spread false information about decisions made by public authorities”; opposed the special military operation in Ukraine; participated in the creation and distribution of materials of foreign agents;
- Maxim Kuzakhmetov opposed the special military operation in Ukraine; participated as a respondent on information platforms provided by foreign media; declared support for the Ukrainian authorities; “made calls for actions, the results of which may lead to the violation of the territorial integrity” of the country; participated in the creation and distribution of materials of foreign agents;
- Dmitry Oreshkin “spread false information about the decisions made by public authorities”; “spoke negatively” about Russia; acted as a respondent on information platforms provided by foreign agents and foreign media; declared support for the Ukrainian authorities.
