The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia put the actor Alexei Panin on the wanted list, against whom a criminal case had previously been initiated for justifying terrorism (part 2 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). The actor now lives in Spain.
In the card of Alexei Panin in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it is indicated that he is wanted under an article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, but for which one, it is not specified.
In early May, investigators from the Moscow Department of the ICR excited in relation to the actor, a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for terrorist activities or public justification of terrorism). The reason for initiating the case was the statements of Alexei Panin, which, according to the ICR, justified the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge.
After the start of the military operation in Ukraine, Alexei Panin publicly criticized the actions of the Russian authorities. He moved to Spain in 2020.
