The Moscow Region Ministry of Internal Affairs donated a TV to 72-year-old pensioner Mikhail Makarov from Shchelkovo, who detained the robber with his own hands. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Media.
Let us remind you that the robber attacked the boy on October 23. The man ran up to the child on the street and grabbed the phone. Makarov noticed this and tripped the attacker who ran away, and then detained him until the police arrived.
“Mikhail Viktorovich’s action is an example of active citizenship for everyone, including police officers,” said Viktor Paukov, head of the Moscow Region Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Makarov was presented with a domestically produced LCD TV of the ECON brand. In addition, the head of the Shchelkovsky district, Andrei Bulgakov, had previously presented him with a certificate for a new domestic car.
