The Ministry of Industry and Trade intends to unite the registers of industrial and radio-electronic products

The explanatory note states that the project was proposed to optimize data. The authors of the document note that, in fact, the registers contain the same information about radio-electronic products.
In addition, combining the lists will eliminate confusion when confirming information about the availability of products in the register. The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that they receive about 150 requests every month asking for clarification of the specifics of the work of each of the registers. The “Russian” origin of goods can be checked in the lists. Getting into there gives preferences to manufacturers in government procurement.
In April 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported on reducing the register of radio-electronic products by almost half – from 7,700 to more than 4,000 positions. They explained that this happened due to the transition to a point system for assessing the level of localization of products. At that time, more than 2,700 applications were still pending.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved a draft resolution on a point system for determining the level of “domesticity” of radio electronics in September 2022. The system implies that the process of creating equipment is divided into technological operations, each of them is assigned a point depending on its importance and level of localization in the Russian Federation. In addition, the “domesticity” of the element base is assessed separately.
