The Ministry of Health predicts an increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in Russia

In Russia, it is necessary to strengthen preventive measures to protect against COVID-19, as an increase in the incidence is predicted in the near future, said “RIA News” Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko. He noted that over the past few years, an increase in the incidence has been observed at the beginning of the school year.

According to Mr. Murashko, children need to be examined before going to school. In addition, he recommended organizing a “morning filter” in educational institutions – examining children for symptoms of the flu or other diseases. The Minister noted that this measure will help prevent the spread of infection.

Over the past day in Russia revealed 50,952 cases of coronavirus. This is the highest figure since mid-March. Previously, experts predicted an increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in the fall. Rospotrebnadzor noted that children began to get sick with coronavirus more often. In six regions of Russia, the advisory mask regime was returned.
