The chief infectious disease specialist of the Ministry of Health of Russia Vladimir Chulanov, in an interview with reporters, urged citizens to continue vaccination against coronavirus.
The specialist warned that in many Russian regions the incidence of COVID-19 is growing, and where there is a decline, the risk of a new outbreak of the virus still remains.
“Will the number of cases grow to 100,000 a day? Definitely, such a possibility exists. Therefore, we are vaccinated and do not hesitate to wear masks,” Chulanov urged.
