The Embassy of Kazakhstan has nothing to do with the action with the installation of a “yurt of indestructibility” in Bucha and five other Ukrainian cities, said the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic, Aibek Smadiyarov.
“This is a private initiative of our Kazakh patrons who decided to help the Ukrainian people. We cannot comment or forbid it. The embassy did not participate in this process,” Smadiyarov noted (quote via Orda.kz).
The diplomat stressed that Astana does not see any problem in installing the yurt. “One nation helps another nation, there is no problem in this, it is natural,” he added.
Information about the installation of the “invincibility yurt” appeared on January 9 on the website of the Bucha City Council. The press service clarified that this happened “thanks to the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and the head of the deputy group for inter-parliamentary relations with the republic, Sergei Nagornyak.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in turn, statedMoscow received assurances from Astana that the republic had nothing to do with the installation of the “yurt of indestructibility” – an unusual heating point.
