The Ministry of Finance is working on new fines for businesses. The department has prepared a draft of sanctions for entrepreneurs who sell “gray” baby carriages and household appliances.
The Ministry of Finance has developed amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses for businessmen for violating product traceability rules. In Russia, there are several categories of goods to which a strict rule applies: the entire history, from the manufacturer and importer to the final store, must be transparent. Now in such a list, among other things, baby strollers and car seats, monitors, refrigerators, washing machines and dishwashers. However, there are still no tools to influence business structures that evade the requirement for product transparency.
If the draft law of the Ministry of Finance is adopted, entrepreneurs will face fines for the “gray” batches of household appliances and children’s accessories. For private businessmen, the amounts are expected to be in the range from one to 30 thousand rubles, for legal entities – from one to 100 thousand. A bypass scheme with a distortion of data on the path of a consignment of goods will also be punished with a fine. True, symbolic, only one thousand rubles.
