An additional group of rescuers has been sent to the area of the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano in Kamchatka. This is reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation. Earlier, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (TFR) for the region stated that a helicopter with rescuers flew out to evacuate tourists. According to the investigation, on August 30, a group of tourists from seven regions of the Russian Federation began climbing the volcano. The group consisted of ten people and two guides. According to preliminary information, today, September 3, at least five people died in a fall from a height.
Klyuchevskaya Sopka is considered one of the most complex volcanoes in Kamchatka.
