A regional emergency situation is in effect in the Kurgan region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations predicts flooding of 62 settlements, 4.3 thousand houses, 5.5 thousand household plots, 600 summer cottages. 18 thousand people may find themselves in the flood zone.
The most difficult situation with floods is in the Orenburg region. Overnight water in the Urals in the Orenburg region is 1,120 cm. Overnight only were flooded another 361 houses and 900 garden plots. There is a federal state of emergency in the region.
