The situation with natural fires in Russia has stabilized over the past week, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported following a weekly conference call, which was held by Deputy Minister Viktor Yatsutsenko. According to the agency, there are currently 78 outbreaks operating in 15 regions of the Russian Federation on an area of ​​more than 6.4 thousand hectares.

More than 1.2 thousand people and 260 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing active fires, aviation was used in the Sverdlovsk and Tyumen regions. “More than 10.1 thousand man-made fires were extinguished, on which 944 people were rescued, more than 5.3 thousand people were evacuated.
