The Ministry of Education sent manuals on the Ukrainian language to the annexed regions

The Russian Ministry of Education organized the sending of manuals on the Ukrainian language for primary grades to the annexed regions – Donetsk, Lugansk people’s republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. About it TASS said Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Bugaev.
“If parents expressed a desire for their children to study Ukrainian optionally as their native language, these teaching aids were created for this purpose. And they are intended for primary schools,” said Mr. Bugaev.
As reported RTVI in the regional Ministry of Education and Science, 64% of students in grades 1-4 in the Kherson region expressed a desire to study the Ukrainian language on an optional basis. In the part of the Zaporozhye region controlled by Russian forces, the regional Ministry of Education reported that 46% of primary school students want to learn Ukrainian.
