From September 1 this year, the use of mobile phones in the classroom in Russian schools is prohibited, said the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov. He also recommended holding traditional school meetings in full-time format.

“In accordance with the new sanitary rules, mobile phones from this school year in the classroom, I emphasize, in the classroom, are not allowed,”— said Mr. Kravtsov at the IX All-Russian Parents’ Meeting.
