The Ministry of Education and Science named “Azov” among the most dangerous movements for young people

The Ministry of Education and Science has prepared methodological materials on the prevention of destructive behavior of students exposed to radical ideology. The department classified “Azov” and the “Russian Freedom Legion” (both organizations are recognized as terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation) as the most dangerous for modern youth.

The ideology of the first organization is based on “hatred towards educational organizations,” the Ministry of Education and Science states, and notes that over the past five years, cases of student attacks on educational institutions have become more frequent in Russia. M.K.U., according to the department, is based on Nazi ideology and “involves racial purification, as well as racism and misanthropy.”

Let us remind you, “Azov” was recognized terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation in August 2022. According to the Supreme Court, Azov fighters, among other things, used prohibited means and methods of warfare in Ukraine. The Legion “Freedom of Russia” was banned in March 2023. Representatives of the Legion took responsibility for various actions, including attacks on populated areas in the Belgorod region.
