The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has extended the remote work regime for employees until September 1, 2023, follows from the order of the head of department Maxim Reshetnikov, available to Kommersant. The decision was made against the backdrop of an UAV attack on the building of the IQ-quarter government complex in Moscow City.
“To establish, until September 1, 2023, a remote (remote) mode of operation in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in relation to federal state civil servants and employees filling positions that are not positions of the federal state civil service,” the document says.
The heads of structural divisions of the Ministry of Economy also need to convey to their subordinates the order of Mr. Reshetnikov, as well as to convey to them “recommendations on the actions of the personnel of the government complex in the event of a threat to commit or commit a terrorist act.” In addition, according to the order of Maxim Reshetnikov, for employees of the Ministry of Economy, a “mode of possible presence in the building of the government complex from 8:00 to 22:00” has been introduced.

The building also houses the offices of the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Federal Accreditation Service and the Russian Agricultural Bank.
